Research Identity
My work has moved from cryptographic foundations, through cyber-physical and critical-infrastructure security, toward trustworthy AI and AI safety — always grounded in deployable systems rather than theory alone. I am a Research Fellow in the Secure Cyber Systems Research Group at Warwick Manufacturing Group, University of Warwick.

Industry & Government Collaboration
My research is delivered through applied, funded programmes rather than in isolation — MedSecurance (Horizon Europe, 12+ European partners), UK NACE and RAMONA (EPSRC), MUTHOS 1.0/2.0 (Dstl and The Alan Turing Institute), a Cyber Skills Framework study for the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), and privacy-preserving digital identity work at The Alan Turing Institute, supported in part by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Research-led pedagogy
Flipped classrooms and MITRE ATT&CK case studies, assessment design and formative/summative evaluation.
Supervision
20+ research and student projects mentored, including 2 PhD candidates (JNU, 2019–2022) and 2 MSc students (Coventry, 2022; Warwick, 2023).
Research Leadership
Follow-on funding for MUTHOS, as Co-author and Lead Contributor: secured a 6-month funded extension supporting 1 full-time and 2 part-time researchers, followed by a further 6-month no-cost extension.
